Troy Peets
Troy (Rasta) has been playing Pan since he was 13 years old. In his early years he performed with his Jr. High School Band and seventhly made it to the award winning St Thomas Virgin Island High School Band , which had 80 members . Troy quickly learned to be a leader and so on formed his own steel drum band the Miniature Steelers who played at many of St. Thomas Virgin Island major hotels . After a few years Troy moved the band to Massachusetts, they're many of the band members excelled in their musical talents and eventualy separated . Troy moved to southern California were he met and studied with Carl Lawrence and Trinidad Steel Drum Band , he performed with them for 14 years. He brings to Steel The Band , leadership and knowledge of all Caribbean style music. |
